Distance Support is an act of solidarity, a way to create a relationship between two families, two worlds, two cultures; it is a direct, effective means by which each one of us can be participants in the process of restoring the rights of children who live in the disadvantaged countries of the world.
Distance Support is not only supplying aid, through schooling we are instrumental in spreading values and highlighting principles of reciprocity which are the basis for real cooperation; we encourage the development of social capital, not only of children directly involved in the scheme, but also of their families, and communities; they become the vehicle for a new awareness, knowledge and competence which can contribute to the development of a better society in the future. Distance support contributes to improving the socio-economic reality of these Communities.
The Distance Support project involves payments by the supporter of a monthly amount of at least 26€ per month, equal to 312€ per year. Payment may be made at regular intervals or as a lump sum: by bank transfer, credit card, Sepa payment, or by credit o debit card at our offices.
